Tibetan singing bowls are magical instruments with a soothing sound that can accompany prayers, rituals, ceremonies, meditation and relaxation. The uniform sound helps to enter states that contribute to meditative awareness, calming the nervous system and deep rest for the body and mind. When examining the notes of singing bowls, we find 3 to 4 main tones that sound together, plus different harmonic tones (undertones). The harmonious sound of the Tibetan bowls induces a deep relaxation of both brain hemispheres. Regular sound therapy stimulates stress relief. Your emotions are calmer and the mind clearer.
While recording waves produced by singing bowls, scientists have discovered wave patterns that were the same as alpha waves produced by our brain. These waves give a feeling of deep relaxation.
