𝒜𝐵𝐿𝐸 𝒩𝒪𝐼𝒮𝐸
Able Noise is not just any band. On the track between Athens (where Alex Andropoulos comes from) and The Hague (where George Knegtel comes from) they are slowly but surely spreading their reputation of anti-formalist rock, rusty cabaret, musical circus without limits. They unglue the seams of socio-political hopelessness, they unglue the normativity and definitiveness of technologies, and they take apart the forms of melody and rhythm in electroacoustic timelessness into small pieces. Drums and a baritone are enough for them. Sometimes they add a bouzouki, cassette player and other toys. The duo's improvised performances are always a little surprise. After all, before their debut album High Tide, they adapted their game only for live performances. The recording process was too binding. That's just another reason to experience this concert event live! And at all. Did you know that Bratislava is almost exactly halfway between Athens and The Hague!? That's right. Everything will come together, everything will make sense.

I remember responses to Jonáš's performance, in which he used the radio system at the bus station in Topoľčany for the first time. 10 years have passed since then, during which Jonáš traveled Europe, the USA, Japan and Taiwan with his sound sculptures. In Nova Cvernovka, she will return to her roots and present an approach in which static horns take over the main role again.

Eva composes songs. To dance performances, to movies or just for yourself. He is currently working on film and teaching. Through her new film, with which she debuted at the festival in Sebastian, she teaches us how to listen to the fountains. And not only us in Bratislava, but all over the world! Last but not least, in addition to composing and directing, Eva also plays - and sings. He will be playing in Bratislava for the first time ever with his original project naked baby. We are honored that it will be in our company. After all, just. Denis Bango already said a year ago about the naked ladies: "I saw the project live and I'm sure it will be one of the most beautiful recordings I've ever heard. " So we don't have to go into more fictional musicological descriptions. Together, we will listen to songs that ALMOST no one has ever heard and so far have only been floating around data storages.

Lénok will appear on his native chest for a while and this is an ideal opportunity for a holiday concert. After performing at the CTM festival, Rewire and the local NEXTe, he will perform his traveling sound monster at our end-of-the-year market. And it will also be an unofficial baptism, for me (JJ writes), officially one of the best albums of this year. It's called Langue of Tongue and I released it on the map, since then my fever dreams haven't stopped. So kick off your heels and get ready for body music that veers from nightmare to tragicomic opera, until it's not at all clear whether the bottles are half full or half empty, plus someone is juggling them frantically. We could use the word deconstruction instead of these descriptions, but perhaps we have already advanced one step further as a civilization. What is certain is that Lénok's music is living silver, polished crystal, the best brewed cup of the season.
