The Brno-sever city district and the Omega Cultural Center cordially invite you to the opening of the election of bobbin lace and photographs in the Brno-Sever social center. 9-17). But what does it look like when the inflated motif is placed in a suitable photo, or when a photo for a given motif is created? The courses tried to do so. Oľga started with mallet after her studies at Comenius University in Bratislava. Later she taught the basics of bobbin and participated in several exhibitions. Jan graduated from the recommended subject “Practical Photography” as part of his studies at BUT. He is the author of pictorial publications “ponds in the Blatno region”, where he worked for many years. Since 2022, when the husbands started together with joint work, they presented themselves at exhibitions in Kroměříž, Holešov Castle, Blatná and Lnáře.
Mgr. Oľga Kurzová (*1949)
- grew up in Trnava, Slovakia. In Bratislava she graduated from the University of Comenius, the Geobotanic University. Another source of inspiration was the lace markets in Prague and Valašské Meziříčí, as well as lace festivals in Vamberk and Sedlice. Its graduates were founded by the Paličkování club, which still works today and is successful at exhibitions.
- In the 1990s, after following her husband to Blatná, South Bohemia, she taught natural history in nearby Běčice. As part of the optional subject of the “applied art technique”, she also taught the foundations of the bobbin. She also tried posters or calendar leaves as a basis. Once, when she was looking for and couldn't find anything, her husband noticed, and said, "Never mind, I'll take something to you". He opened the door to the balcony, from which the view of the old cemetery, and pressed the trigger. This was the photographs of the tree with the sun and the moon above the cemetery.
Ing. Jan Kurz (* 1947)
- He started photographing at the age of 16 with the camera of the Rolleiflex. (Hanzelka and Sigismund also photographed with a similar 6x6 cm format.) Then he switched to the Practica and Chinon cinemas. His current apparatus is Canon 77. However, it has the widest shot in landscape photography, especially in the water surface.
- in cooperation with Blatenský historian Mgr. During the years 2011 - 2019, Jiří Sekera issued a trilogy “ponds in the Blatno region”, which describes a total of 600 ponds in a word and image. Other photographic publications of the author are the "Devil's Stones in the Blatno" and the trilogy "Know Blatno". The wife has just finished the bobbin dancer and placed it on a total of dull monochrome background. He thought of putting a dancer for a pond and making it Rusalka. The word gave the word and two fairies dancing at a wetland computer modified to Night Rusal's Lake. 2020)
