About event
Soyuz (союr) is a musical collective from Minsk, Belarus, nowadays based in Warsaw. Founded by the Belarusian multi-instrumentalists Alex Chumak and Mikita Arlou and supplemented with the Polish Albert Karch (drums) and Igor Wiśniewski (guitar), the band mixes in the Studio Jazz, Folk, Pop and Rich Orchestrations. On stage, Soyuz turns into a live collective in which improvisation and the individual voices of the musicians always shape the songs.
The band broke through with the album "Force of the Wind", which was named one of Bandcamp's Radio of 2022 and AirPlay, among others. Their latest album "Krok", which will be released on October 24, 2025 via the British indielable MR Bongo, brings their Eastern European roots together with jazz, folk and music from all over the world. Expect folkballades, jazzy pop and rich ironing and wind packages, in which every note counts
