SPACES
Lightness in the body, spaciousness in being
A monthly Deep Dive into holistic body practices.
A somatic and improvisational workshop about making space — within our tissues, between movements, and in connection with others. As November draws us inward, we’ll explore spaciousness through breath, awareness and dance — finding lightness even in the darker season.
We’ll use somatic methods and release techniques to soften and open the body, creating space within our fascia and joints. We’ll then expand our awareness outward — moving from this inner spaciousness, we’ll explore how movement can shape and be shaped by the spaces around and between us.
Come as you are. This workshop is open to anyone curious about embodied exploration and movement as a way of reconnecting to ease and presence.

About the facilitator
Eszter Kalóz (she/her) is a Dancer, Holistic Dance-Movement Pedagogue and Yoga teacher based in Berlin. She's sharing her offerings under the name of Bodyfulness.
She’s dedicated to inspiring personal transformation through embodied practices. Her work is based on dance pedagogical, dance- and body therapeutic as well as holistic methods. Her teaching style can be described as sensitive, caring and playful.
She's studied Authentic Movement extensively with Sabine Parzer, Contact Improvisation mainly with Andrew Wass, Body-Mind Centering with Ka Rustler and Nina Wehnert, as well as many contemporary & improvisational techniques from various wonderful teachers.
Whether yoga or dance/movement, what she offers is influenced by an ongoing research into her own body-mind-spirit and therefore has a constantly evolving form. Focusing on cultivating awareness, letting whatever is present to come to the surface.
“Movement is not something we do nearly so much as what we are, and harbinger to what we can become.” — Sonja Fraleigh
