About event
A visit to the Voršilek Convention and the functionalist Elementary School of St. Voršily (formerly the order girls' real gymnasium).
Have you ever been tempted to visit the buildings of the monastery, which is adjacent to the National Theatre? So now you have a unique opportunity. We are promised a visit to the buildings of the Voršilek Convention, and we will also visit the building of the Elementary School of St. Voršila, which previously served as a real girls' grammar school. Sister Magdaléna will guide us through the historic building of the monastery and the principal will guide us through the elementary school. We couldn't ask for a better guide.
The tour will take place from 4 p.m. and we will meet before the entrance to the church of St. Voršila on Národní třída.
The price for the tour is 350 CZK and it is a charity event, as the proceeds from the event will go entirely to the restoration of the Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows under the Barrand Rock, as is our good custom.
