Sperger duo - adventný recitál pre Jána Cikkera

The initiator of the noble idea of the benefit concert is the members of the Sperger duo - husband and wife Xénia and Filip Jarovci. They want to support the Ján Cikker Museum with their Advent recital. We want to repay everyone who joins their intention with their participation with an exceptional experience - a program compiled from the works of A. Míšek, G. Bottesini and A. N. Skryabin. There will also be an adaptation of Ján Cikker's famous Five Folk Songs in a unique transcription for double bass and piano. The concert will take place on Sunday 1 December 2024 at 19.00 in the premises of the Ján Cikker Museum. After the concert, we invite all visitors to a social meeting with the artists.
And what will the money from the entrance fee to the benefit concert be used for? The Ján Cikker Museum welcomes more than 1,200 visitors to its premises every year as part of its cultural, educational and professional events. In the time of covid, thanks to generous sponsors (Hollen s.r.o.), we reconstructed the leaky terrace and restored the concert hall. We believe that the proceeds from the upcoming benefit concert will help us repair and restore the entrance areas and the vestibule of the rare functionalist villa in which the master Ján Cikker lived and composed.
