When I was nervous, I took the ball and went to kick . I knew I couldn't change the things around me, but I could change myself. If Messi can do it, so can I. You must not give up. You must have a dream. And endure. Every kicked ball goes somewhere. You can't catch a penalty, you can only kick it badly. Everyone can be the best at something.
Many little boys around the world want to be Lionel Messi. He is their king, their unattainable idol. All boys in Africa are Lionel Messi if they are not Ronaldo. What can be used to make a ball? And what can be done with the ball? How many globes can you spin on one leg?
When soccer and art meet, it's freestyle.
If you learn it with the ball, you learn it with people. And if you fail? You try again and again and again… until it finally works. A performance about football, about Messi, about freestyle, which motivates children all over the world, about how important it is to have your hero and to follow your dream.
World champion in freestyle football Daniel Pražák on stage meets DJ and musician badfocus to tell a story of determination, will and desire to follow your dream. Directed by Petr Boháč and Miřenka Čechová, who are returning to the form of a multi-genre performance, for which they won awards in the past such as the Best of in the Washington Post or the Fringe First Award, awarded by the largest theater festival in the world. Audiences could see their performances from Stockholm to Johannesburg, from New York to Shanghai.
