The Gallery of the City of Prague and the Archive of Fine Arts invite you to a joint guided tour of two exhibitions dedicated to Pavel Jasanský (1938–2021). period 60. to 90.
The second exhibition is retrospective and takes place in the GHMP House of Photography. She presents in her entire breadth of ash work, in which he profiled himself as a photographer with exceptional empathy and observation. He applied in free documentary photography, for a long time depicting emotionally tense micro -worlds of institutions and hospitals, cemeteries and carnival. In later work, he combined graphics, painting and photography. The highlight of his intermediate efforts is probably the first "video sculpture" in the Czech Republic: Monstrous Installation The viewer (1989).
Ash. Both guided tours will be led by Pavel Vančát together with photographer Lukáš Jasanský, son of Pavel Jasanský.
