About event
Part of the Brno Museum Night 2025
Do we have everything under control?
How did it start all? Out of nowhere. At first we thought we would give it, smoothed a tiny deflection of balance and wrong steps, traces of dysfunction, poor synchronization. We will just pretend that we have everything under control, movements, tones, rays of light, floor, ceiling, our own center of gravity, hand. We made a mistake somewhere. We may not have been able to do it at all, but we can no longer ignore it and pretend to be perfect. But what actually happened? And why are we here? We play everything from scratch. From banal fakes and everyday bouts to the need for mutual proximity. Two dancers meet in theater and existential temporary. The functional world disintegrates under the hands. What remains at the end when everything else fails? What will remain after our grotesque efforts to lean on each other? Just dancing shadows. The project was created in cooperation with the area area in Bucharest and Industra. Financially, the CR, the City of Prague and the European Union, supported the creation through the Erasmus+ program and the National Renewal Plan. Thanks to Žaneta Musilová, Kateřina Jabůrková and Lucie Kašiarová.
