Did you know that the Czech Republic has its own scientific program in Antarctica? It is covered by Masaryk University, which has been operating a Czech science station since 2006 on James Ross Island and since 2018 and a terrain tent camp with field kitchen on Nelson Island in Antarctica. Ing. Since 2010, Pavel Kapler, PhD. CZ*ECO Nelson (Nelson Island), which the program runs. He is a co -author of the Protective Trademark project tested in Antarctica, which opens the way for cooperation between Antarctic scientists with the application sphere and industry. He works as an advisor in the interdepartmental commission for Antarctica at the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic and also for the MFA at the meetings of the Antarctic Treaty (ATC) Community and its Environmental Protection Commission (CEP).
