Spoločné rozsvietenie Dómu sv. Martina

✨ Come with us to experience the lighting of one of the most important monuments of Bratislava, the Cathedral of St. Martina, on the third Sunday of Advent, December 14 at 18:15.

When we take care of our monuments, it is not a return to the past, but a natural part of building the future. History gives us a framework through which we understand who we are and where we are going. That is also why we give the Cathedral of St. Martin's new lighting, worthy of its importance - the kind that will prepare this Bratislava landmark for the next bright decades. The project replaces old fluorescent lamps with modern LED RGBNW lights, which improve the quality of lighting and enable colorful lighting at important events. The lighting of the cathedral respects the architecture (while the intensity of the lighting will be regulated and the light will be dimmed in the late hours of the night), it highlights the details, and at the same time it is more energy efficient, more reliable and ready for the future.

If you want to see how the cathedral will be shown in a new light for the first time, come on Sunday, December 14:

18:15 – a short speech by Mayor Matúš Vall and Archbishop Mons. Stanislav Zvolenský in front of the Cathedral on Rudnay Square
✨ 18:20 - ceremonial lighting of the Cathedral of St. Martina ✨

Come and experience the cathedral in a new light.
