About event
The annual commemoration of the protest march of Bratislava university students, which took place on the eve of the International Students' Day in 1989. We will pay our respects to the students, who already on November 16, 1989, demanded a dialogue about the problems of education, reforms and more freedom (November 16) by laying flowers or lighting a candle in front of the building of the Rectorate of the UK, where since 2009 thanks to the Institute of Memory nation and the Comenius University in Bratislava placed a commemorative plaque commemorating these events.
