The Institute of National Memory invites the public to a memorial evening, which will take place on the occasion of the missed 80th birthday and the 20th anniversary of the tragic death of Ján Langoš.
Ján Langoš was a dissident, post-revolutionary federal minister of the interior, member of parliament and founder of the Institute of National Memory. His public activity was connected with the defense of freedom, democracy and with efforts to make available the truth about the period of non-freedom. in the .club under the lamp at Partizánská 2 in Bratislava.
The program of the commemorative evening will consist of a video monologue by Ján Langoš, a series of commented photos from his life, a preview of the forthcoming documentary film ÚPN, a discussion with guests and a documentary film by Kristína Vlachová, The Way of Democracy.
