About event
Berlin is a tapestry of cultures: whether at the weekly market, in the café around the corner, in schools or public institutions - you encounter a fascinating variety of languages everywhere. Maybe you've been curious about the sound of Turkish for a long time? Maybe you've always wanted to learn French but have never found the right moment? Or would you like to discover a new language, but don't yet know which one is right for you?
Then we cordially invite you to the European LanguageBar on Monday, November 24th, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Embark on a linguistic journey of discovery through Europe and beyond. In short, interactive taster formats you can get to know different languages, for example French, Italian, Polish, Spanish, Greek and Turkish. Listen to the sounds, speak your first words, exchange ideas - without any prior knowledge, but with a lot of curiosity and fun.
A special highlight: our language pub quiz! Test your language knowledge in a playful way, learn curiosities and surprising things about dialects, idioms and language history - and with a bit of luck win small prizes. Whether alone or in a team: It's worth taking part!
Drinks and snacks are provided.
