About event
We cordially invite you to a detailed sightseeing walk, during which we will deal primarily with architecture, history and art in the area of the city of Vyšehrad. Specifically, we will thoroughly focus on the Táborská gate No. 35-VI and the statues in the entire Vyšehrad area. In addition to the historicizing sculptures transferred from the Palacký bridge (Lumír and Píseň, Ctirad and Šárka, Záboj and Slavoj, Přemysl and Libuše), we will stop, for example, at the baroque statues of St. Ludmila or St. Vojtěch, at the equestrian monument of St. Wenceslas or at the Devil's Column.
The interpretation is provided by art historian Jakub Synecký.
The length of the walk is approximately 90-120 minutes.
Entrance fee: walk 150/100 CZK
