Hello, I'm Selma, a Bosnian mom and psychotherapist who helps women heal generational wounds through ancestral roots, sisterhood and empowerment. Follow me - we need each other.

Growing up in environments where our parents were constantly in survival mode was incredibly challenging. Many of us remember times when expressing our needs or sharing our dreams was met with rejection, disparagement or the harsh reality that such aspirations were deemed unrealistic. These experiences left deep imprints on our hearts and minds, shaping our beliefs about what was possible for us.

For many Balkan women, expressing a dream or need often meant facing criticism or being told to live in fantasy. This constant undoing has taught us to repress our desires and doubt our worth. It's no wonder that many of us carry these limiting beliefs into adulthood, feeling trapped by echoes of the past.

Imagine a life where you honor your desires and give voice to your dreams. Imagine being surrounded by a community that supports and uplifts you, reminding you of your strength and potential. This is a journey we are on together - to rewrite our stories, to heal from the past, and to step into our power. @balkansisterhoodcommunity we help each other do it.

Remember, it's okay to dream big. It's okay to ask for what you need. And most importantly, it's okay to believe that you deserve happiness, success, and fulfillment. We are here to support each other, to break the cycles of the past, and to create a future full of hope and possibility.

Together we can transform our limiting beliefs into empowering truths and build lives that reflect our deepest desires and highest aspirations.
