will be made by our regular contributor and friend Marek Vodička. Incarnated mind: religious aspects of computation theory of mind and transhumanism
Annotation:
The post will point to some (pseudo-) religious features of computation theory of mind, respectively. The opinion that the mind is an information processor ("software" recorded on "hardware" - brain), and transhumanism, ie the opinion that one should be improved in the future by technology to create a new techno -biological species. He will argue that both of these views follow in certain respects to Platonism, Christianity, Cartesian dualism and idealism, ie either directly religious or "flirting" religion.
