The wheelchair league, together with Alch, organizes the professional conference "Stand up!", Focusing on the importance of verticalization for people who, due to disability or age, spend most of their lives sitting or lying down. These are aspects of physiological and health, but also psychological. It is a degree of self -service and independence.
The program will offer a combination of professional lectures, practical demonstrations, sharing real experience from practice and last but not least the presentation of technology and technology that will allow verticalization to clients.
The aim of the event is to spread education about the possibilities of verticalization and to present modern technologies that significantly increase the self -sufficiency and quality of life of handicapped and efficiency of work and the protection of carers. The Danish company Guldmann - the manufacturer of transport and rehabilitation systems, AlTech - a leading manufacturer of barrier -free solutions and wheelchair league, is the first to use the Danish GH3+ in rehabilitation. Many guests will share their experience and importance of “life vertically”. The program will also include inputs of physiotherapists and social workers of wheelchair league, practical workshops as well as a special block on the possibilities of funding for verticalization aids, including an overview of state contributions. It contributes to maintaining physiological functions and improving the activity of the heart, lungs and blood circulation. Regular inclusion of an upright position helps prevent osteoporosis, muscle atrophy, contractures, improves digestion, bladder function and supports overall physical and mental condition. The main benefits of verticalization include the maximum possible self -sufficiency in normal physical activities.
