About event
🎄 Old Bohemian Christmas in Modřany 🎄
Come and enjoy Advent and a typically Czech Christmas as our grandmothers and great-grandmothers enjoyed it in the past. On Sunday, December 15, you will go back in time and experience a true old Bohemian Christmas.
What you will find here:
• A wish-fulfillment tree.
• Live animals - Nativity scene.
• Old Bohemian crafts and customs (making candles, ornaments, bells, straw gifts,...).
• Demonstration of Old Bohemian crafts (Blacksmith, Scribe, Rope walker,...).
• Alchemical laboratory.
• Bottle maker.
• Performance by the band Dei Gratia.
• Musical performance - performance by children from DDM.
• Performance by children from dance clubs and majorette clubs.
• Announcement of the Advent route.
The event will also include the "Tree of Fulfilled Wishes". Everyone who brings a gift and places it under our tree will contribute to the joy of the children in the children's home, to whom we will deliver the gifts the following day. Please indicate whether the gift is intended for a boy or a girl.
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, December 15.
