Staroměstská procházka po domovních znameních

The house signs combine art and craft work with architecture, appear on many Prague houses, and written records indicate that their number is the highest in Prague throughout Europe. The oldest Prague house signs date back to the 14th century. In 1770, Empress Maria Theresa replaced them with descriptive numbers, but fortunately many signs have been preserved to this day. The route of this walk will take participants from the main building of the UPM to the house of the Black Mother of God. Accompanied by Mgr. Kristina Wenceslas.
