Introduction: Evgeniia Lianskaya-Lininger

WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART has been a challenge for almost everyone. His Piano Sonata No. 8, D major KV 311 (284c) from 1777 in three movements impresses with its playful, virtuoso, partly orchestral style Passages that reveal the Mannheim Symphony. It was created during his guest performance trip via Germany to Paris, where he was accompanied by his ailing mother, who died soon afterwards.

The eleven-minute Novellette op.21, No.8, was created in 1838 by ROBERT SCHUMANN as the last of eight individual pieces. The composer had to endure a difficult, unsuccessful time in Vienna this year, while his fiancée Clara Wieck was celebrated as a pianist. The novelette is very lively and consists of a passionate Étude and a march.

A work by the Frenchman CÉSAR FRANCK can be heard for the first time, his first piece for piano in 1884 with the title Prélude, Choral et Fugue, which the actual church organ musician composed in a mood of Old Master transfiguration. Its formal idea goes back to Bach's organ preludes and fugues, but is very romanticized in a French way, and therefore belongs to late Parisian romanticism.

As a contemporary work, KAZNODII“ The Sea, the Silence and You”by Viennese WALTER BACO, a composer who likes many classics. Because he has easy-to-understand harmonies, likes to express feelings and, as a writer, is also meaningful in terms of his titles.

Vladyslav Kaznodii was born in Mykolaiv (Ukraine). He graduated from the Kiev State Music Lyceum (2017) and Peter Tchaikovsky National Music Academy (2022). He took part in many master classes and can look back on an active concert career in his home country at many festivals and projects as a soloist and chamber musician.

For his interpretation of the 1st Piano Concerto by Beethoven, which he played in the large hall of the Kiev Conservatory, Vlad Kaznodiy received the 3rd prize in 2020,

The artist has lived in Vienna since 2022 and studies at the University of Vienna Music and performing arts Vienna in Lilya Zilberstein's class.
