The conference will focus on current challenges and perspectives of cultural statistics in Czech The republic and international level. Its aim is to connect experts, representatives of public administration and cultural sector and offer space for discussion on trends in cultural data and their application in practice.
2025 and its impact on the collection of cultural data. The Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic will bring the mapping of cultural and creative sectors. The second block will offer practical examples of data usage - automation of data collection in libraries, benchmarking libraries and theaters or a cultural map of Prague. The final block will focus on international perspective. UNESCO, Eurostat, and Egmus (European Groups for Museum Statistics) will present new methodological frameworks and future direction of cultural statistics.
