About event
💔 Romantic love or money? All this in a stunning story with Giacomo Puccini's music directed by Daubnerová! Music is full of beautiful melodies and raw emotions from the passionate duet des Grieux and Manon in 2nd to the overwhelming abandonment of the final manonina of the "Sola, Perduta, Abbandonata".
Literary Manon, known in Bohemia, mainly from the famous processing of Vítězslav Nezval, comes from the French love novel Abbé Pévosta Knights des Grieux and Manon Lescaut, which was published in 1731 in Paris. And gripping Tale Brought to Life Through the Music of Giacomo Puccini, Directed by Glory Daubner! ABOUNDING IN SPENDID MELODIES, The Music Renders Intense Emotions, From Fervid Love in the Duet Between des Grieux and Manon in Act 2 to Crushing Despair of the Lonesome Manon in the Aria "Sola, Perduta, Abbandonat".
