About event
Another year and the construction of another secondary school building in the Zambian village of Kashitu is behind us 🧱 🏗️
What can go wrong with construction in Zambia? And what did we do this year? 💬 Come and hear how we progressed with the high school construction project, what challenges we had to face and what we and the locals learned from it. We will also take a look at the plans for next year and evaluate the impact of our activities in Kashit 🔜
Lecturer Petr Čanda 🎙️
Petr is a doctoral student focusing on constructions in different climatic conditions at FSv CTU. He started working on the Kashitu School project as part of his diploma thesis and currently participates in the coordination of the implementation phases of the project. He spent over 3 months in Zambia this year 🇿🇲 and was present during the entire construction period ⏲️
👉 The program will take place for free in the Minuta room on the first floor (room no. 125). No need to register in advance, just come.
Refreshments at the bar in the cafe 🍷 ☕
