Stefano Bedetti - tenor saxophone

Martin Kapusník - double bass
Jakub Valíček - percussion instruments
Stefano Bedetti is a self-taught saxophonist who started playing at the age of 14 and was formed by listening to legendary jazz musicians such as Charlie Parker, John Coltrane and Sonny Rollins. Already at the age of 19, he reached the international scene thanks to the group AREA, with whom he participated in the album "Chernobyl7991". Subsequently, he worked for a long time in the group JESTOFUNK, with which he recorded several successful albums and gave concerts at important jazz festivals around the world.
Since 2004, he has collaborated with the Marco Tamburini International Quintet and in 2007 he released his debut album "The Bright Side of the Moon", which received positive reviews and a nomination for the Italian Jazz Awards. In 2009, he moved to New York, where he played in the Billy Hart Quartet, founded his own trio and collaborated with a number of top jazz musicians such as George Cables, Antonio Sanchez and John Patitucci, establishing himself firmly on the international jazz scene. The partners are Rampone&Cazzani, the Italian Cultural Institute, BKIS, Jazz sk and Citylife.
