About event
At the end of the year, the Stegreif Orchestra invites you to the “feel:free” concert on two evenings - at the place where it was founded ten years ago. As part of the anniversary series "10 Years of Stegreif", the orchestra will travel through its history in 2025 with five programs in different venues and will end with a musical invitation in the Radialsystem on December 30th and 31st.
Joy of making music, concentrated energy and emotions: The Stegreif Ensemble breaks with traditional spatial concepts and usual conventions of the classical concert and explores new and unusual arrangements in which music is perceived and rediscovered can.
The focus of the “feel:free” concert evening is the atmosphere at the moment of making music and the opportunity to experience orchestral music together in its delicacy and power – for the first time or again and again. The program includes works by both well-known and unknown composers: Wilhelmine von Bayreuth, Clara Schumann, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Edward Elgar's “Enigma Variations”. In addition, Stegreif presents his own compositions and improvisations, which the audience not only accompanies but can actively help shape.
