Have you ever been curious about Sean Nós dancing — the expressive, rhythmic, and deeply musical solo style of Irish dance? 🌱
This 2-hour workshop is the perfect starting point for complete beginners and dancers who want to reconnect with the foundations of this solo Irish dance style.
During our time together, I’ll guide you through two of the most commonly used steps — the Connemara step and the Shuffle step — and help you master them first without and then with music. 🎵
First, we’ll break down each step, practice with music, and then explore how to combine them into a simple routine. To wrap up, you’ll get a chance to create your own step using what we’ve covered.
We will cover: ✨ How to hear the rhythm in traditional Irish music:
