✨ Stephan Micus, a visionary and explorer of musical traditions across continents, will present his transcendental compositions, mixing voices and instruments from different corners of the world.

✨ Stephan Micus
Stephan Micus, born in Germany in 1953, is a pioneering musician who has been exploring musical traditions from around the world for decades. He traveled to many countries where he studied with local masters and learned to play traditional instruments, many of which are unknown in the Western world. Micus does not use these instruments in a traditional way, but creates new combinations and musical possibilities. His compositions often combine instruments from different cultures and include his own voice, creating transcendental meditative soundscapes.
He will mainly bring to Prague his new album To the Rising Moon, which was released this November on the ECM label.
✨ Line Gate
Line Gate is a project of Prague-based musician Michal Vaľek. His sound is characterized by repetitiveness, apparent immutability and the use of minimal means of expression. Compositions formed by long drones evoke a psychedelic effect of sealed time. The compositions follow the tradition of minimalism (La Monte Young, Éliane Radigue, Steve Reich), but we can also listen to them as solitary audio diaries.
