About event
Fan (Foundation Friendship Albany NY-Nijmegen) will consider her 10-year anniversary on Friday 19 September. The meeting in the Stevenskerk marks a decade of commitment to strengthen the historical friendship bands between Nijmegen and Albany, and in particular between the inhabitants of these cities. Foundation Foundation believes that connection and friendship between people - across borders - are stronger than political changes or turbulences. Just in these turbulent times, in which political revolutions distribute people worldwide, wants to emphasize the fan with this anniversary program that celebrating and cherishing international friendship and connectedness between citizens is essential. The mission of the foundation is rooted in the history of cooperation and exchange, and with this event she wants to send a powerful signal that these values are permanently relevant.
