What makes things live, things flourish? What creates the will to live? Sunshine. Death is never far away on this album, it lurks in the background, but the will to live is much more prominent. Sticks' latest album 'Sunshine' is one of his most personal ever. He went back to basics with the people who were with him at the beginning, when Sticks was still part of Opgezwolle and Fakkelbrigade. Rico, Typhoon, Freez and James can be heard on various songs. Fakkebrigade came together again in the studio especially for this occasion to create the track 'Are We Still OK?'. Zonneschijn is a mature hip-hop album that brings together both heavy and beautiful life events.
