The lost taste of languages
a storytelling performance dedicated to all the languages around us
Three stories presented by the storytelling association A story on the trail about the languages that we had around us and suddenly someone wanted to erase them. To take away a person's language is similar to the feeling of imprisonment and unfreedom. Even the charm of a tolerant city can evaporate like steam over a cup of coffee at such moments.
The Lost Taste of Languages is loosely inspired by Jozef Tancer's book Loose Languages. The book describes why Hungarian and German disappeared from the streets of Bratislava.
Storytelling is a specific theater discipline that primarily uses the audience's imagination.
