in the premises of the former Caraff prison, the gateway between the worlds will be symbolically opened since August. The Caraffka Gallery in Prešov will present from August 13 to September 24, 2025 the exhibition Lost Heritage and subtitle Waking, which combines fine arts with digital animation, sound and mythological narration. spoken. Each of the works carries a hidden voice that can be revealed through QR codes - after loading the image is expanded to a word, sound, story. The exhibition thus works targeted with the senses and supports individual imagination - visual perception blends with hearing and intuition. The screened scenes of mythical beings are complemented by a spatial sound background. The paintings become a scene on which the myth materializes - the silence is transformed into breath, the character moves, the symbol wakes up. This moment of revival is subtle, not as an effect, but as an art gesture - as the movement between the present and forgotten. rebirth. It does not deliberately offer finished interpretations, but activates the inner world of the viewer: his memory, cultural imagination, personal relationship to the myth. In the interior of a historic prison, which itself bears the memory of time, the works of a new meaning - as if voices emerged from the walls of ancient stories, but not as an echo, but as a challenge.
