We invite you to the traditional Student Scientific Conference of the 3rd Medical Faculty of the UK, which will take place on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. 🧪
The conference is, as always, divided into four sections. Non-medical, postgraduate, theoretical and clinical, each including both a lecture and a poster part.
You can also look forward to two honorary lectures👨🏻⚕️. One from prof. MD Vladimír Koblížek, Ph.D., a leading Czech pulmonologist and chairman of the Czech Pneumological and Physiological Society. 🫁 And the second from PhDr. M.Sc. David Peřan, Ph.D., DiS., paramedic, pedagogue of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine, UK and author of a number of publications in the field of intensive care medicine. 🚒
The popular workshop for undergraduate students "How to do science?" will also be part of the program. and a varied accompanying program. 🔬
The closing ceremony will take place in the Vinohradský brewery, where the best works of individual sections, the Dean's Award and the Spectator's Award will be announced. 🍻

PS: Every student of the 3rd LF of the UK who will participate in the SVK (even as a spectator) can request an excused absence from classes at the entrance.

You can also look forward to two honorary lectures 👨🏻⚕️. One by Prof. MD Vladimír Koblížek, Ph.D., a leading Czech pulmonologist and Chairman of the Czech Pneumological and Phthisiological Society 🫁 . And another from PhDr. M.Sc. David Peřan, Ph.D., DiS., a paramedic, lecturer at the Third Faculty of Medicine, and author of numerous publications in intensive care medicine 🚒 .
The program will also include the popular workshop for undergraduate students “How to start with science?”, along with a rich accompanying program. 🔬
🍻 The conference will conclude with a ceremonial closing at Vinohradský pivovar, where the best contributions from each section, the Dean's Award, and the Audience Award will be announced.
