About event
We cordially invite you to a Christmas-themed double concert of the bands Andrea&Allison and Jiný Metro!
What do both groups have in common? The basis of both are two women, strong friendship and enthusiasm not only for music, but also for songwriting.
The duo of Andrey Šulcová (CZ) and Allison Wheeler (USA) was born from a common love for folk and bluegrass. Their songs also refer to a jazz background - Andrea studied jazz flute at the Kunstuniversität Graz in Austria and Allison studied jazz singing at the University of Northern Colorado in the USA - but they remain true to the beauty of simplicity and captivate listeners with smooth harmonies and honest storytelling.
Diný Metro is the musical duo of Katie Alžběta Brown and Klára Čmejrková. The pair of best friends bring to the stage elaborate double voices, playfulness in cheerful and melancholic songs and proficient multi-instrumentality.
In the course of the evening, more than two voices may be heard at the same time - and we will all be surprised :-)
