Black Theater - author's production inspired by biblical and scientific theories about the beginning of the world.
Bulgarian director and artist Magdalena Miteva brings her author's production to the Slovak stage, inspired by biblical and scientific theories about the beginning of the world. His goal is not just a simple retelling of well-known stories, but he tries to capture their common essence and vary them. The production draws the audience into the environment of emerging life and offers them space to reflect on the magnificence of these moments. It avoids the search for the only truth about the origin of the world and focuses on underlining the beauty hidden in the nature around us. It uses the black theater technique, which it follows and refers to similar successful productions from the past of the Old Theater. At the same time, thanks to the unique scenic options, colors and a dose of mystery, it fully stimulates the imagination of children and adults.
