SUBWISE: PiyaZawa + Dubbing Sun + EchoBoy

SUBWISE 2026 will take place on May 22 in the premises of the Vila Štvanice theater.

The second continuation of SUBWISE events will offer an international line-up focused on contemporary dub and reggae mixed with dubstep, including several representatives of the contemporary scene and one of the most important Czech dub sound systems – Pure Energy.

The headliners are German flutist PiyaZawa, who will perform alongside Austrian producer Dubbing Sun, whose latest album Eternal Works was released earlier this March on Moonshine Recordings. An honest warm-up will be provided by their colleague from this label, EchoBoy, who will present his current production and remixes that straddle the border between dubstep, dub and reggae. Among the local DJs, Blofeld, who works mainly on the drum and bass scene, has also accepted an invitation, but for this evening he will prepare a special set balancing between dub and dub techno. After the headliners, DJ Maara Steppa will perform, who will prepare a stompy dance set full of original dubplates from different corners of the world, and there will also be an opening and closing set by DJs from Pure Energy sound.

The meditative vibe will progress during the night to harder dance UK steppas dub, so fans of both sides of this musical style will find something to do.
