About event
The "suggestum" project (from Latin, meaning "elevated platform, stage, platform") brings evenings combining staged readings of contemporary literature and electronic music. This evening will combine
a staged reading of Greta Čandová's latest work with the electronic music of the func.high project.
A set of fragmentary notes of a woman, scattered in time and space - from different periods of life and places to trying to take root awaits you. Movement between document, prose and poetry, crossed out notes on a handkerchief, in diaries, maps and text messages, and medical reports, where diagnoses become a metaphor for different types of wind. Intimacy of incompleteness and inner movement.
Gréta Čandová (*1991) freelances for reports and interviews with a focus on social and natural history topics - currently mainly for JÁDU magazine. In addition, he deals with photography, prose and work on community projects. As part of the editing, he also focuses on the comprehensibility of the language of public institutions. She is the co-author of a book about the carrier community On your back (Zúrnál, 2023) and a book about brand makers. Her manuscript Atlas of Wind/Weight of Planets will be published by Čierne diery publishing house after completion.
The func.high project is focused on electronic experimental music with a dark and minimalist aesthetic. He draws his inspiration from various genres of electronic music such as techno, jungle or ambient, trying to blur the boundaries between them and build a hypnotic atmosphere. The creation of the project is rooted in the exploration of spaces, objects and non-traditional instruments with a unique approach to recording and production.
Guest: Ariadna Vendelová - movement improvisation
Dramaturgy: Pavol Bakajsa and Peter Kočiš
Events under the auspices of Divadla Na Peróne are curated by the couple Pavel Bakajsa and Dominika Moravčíková.
