About event
The city dwarfs the juggernaut. Siren city. The city is shaking. A dream under the moon cellophane.
The project "suggestum" (from Latin, meaning "elevated platform, stage, platform") brings evenings combining scenic readings of contemporary literature and electronic music. This evening will combine
a staged reading of the latest work of the leading Košice writer Jana Bodnárová with the music of Raptor Koch.
Jana Bodnárová is a Slovak writer whose work resonates across literary forms and genres. Her prose, poems, radio, theater and children's plays are appreciated
by professionals and the general public. Bodnárová was part of the pre-revolutionary art scene in eastern Slovakia and in contact with the Košice underground. Her current work
which she will present at the Perón Theater is characterized by spontaneity, unexpected images and a surreal atmosphere.
Raptor Koch is a cellar multi-instrumentalist from the Humenné district, whose work is characterized by a DIY approach and authenticity. The professional public perceives him as the best Frank
Zappa living east of Branisk. Where others grind the edges, Raptor Koch adds color and takes you to unknown and at the same time completely new places.
Events under the auspices of Divadl Na Peróne are curated by the couple Pavel Bakajsa and Dominika Moravčíková.
