Sunjay [UK]

Sunjay is a British blues singer and guitarist of Indian origin, living near Birmingham. In his youth he literally fell in love with Blues. In the last two years, he has been very strongly and significantly established on the British Blues scene. The Black & Blues Revisited album, produced by Sunjay and Josh Clark in Get Real Studios in Bath Spa meant significant progress in Sunjay's life. "I just started to record this album when my mother died tragically," Sunjay says. "There was so much I had to deal with, the shock was huge and it took me a long time to recover from that death. Fortunately, Josh Clark allowed us to keep it filmed as he continued to work on other projects until I recovered and could not record again. Together with the artists, they turn to all visitors to the festival and cultural events for free to contribute to the Social Endowment Fund by purchasing symbolic tickets.
