Medium Build in exceptional concert at La Bellevilloise

Medium Build, a gay singer-songwriter born Nick Carpenter, has a generous and welcoming spirit that shines through in his songs. Medium Build built a cult following in Anchorage, Alaska, where he became a local celebrity and hometown hero, before recently moving to Nashville, closer to his southern roots and devoting himself to his music career . He has developed a passionate fan base in Alaska and beyond its borders as he inspires listeners to dig deep and discover themselves throughout his own emotional journey. Medium Build has toured with pop music headliners, but underneath that is an old country soul, who cherishes the simple things in life and keeps his family close to his heart. Songs like "Crying Over U" embrace vulnerability thanks to Nick's intricate lyrics and gravelly yet gentle vocals, while "Never Learned to Dance" is pure cosmic Americana, with its lush acoustic guitar and twisted steel, but it is also distinctly contemporary, a modern tale about digital love and missed connections.
