STATEMENT FROM SCHWUZ
Dear SchwuZ community.
Writing these lines is incredibly difficult for us. Unfortunately, we have to inform you that SchwuZ will be closing.
After months of hopes, intensive discussions and a comprehensive process with potential investors, no party has been found that would like to take over and continue SchwuZ in its current state, or can raise the necessary funds. We tried everything, but in the end it wasn't enough.
Let's use the last few weeks together to get together again. To dance, laugh, cry and share memories and celebrate all that we have created together. Our last party will take place on November 1st and we would like to celebrate it together with you for what it is: a farewell, but also a big thank you. A thank you to you who, with so much passion, creativity and perseverance, have made this adventure called SchwuZ possible since 1977.
With much gratitude and a heavy heart we say:
Cheers Queers,
Your SchwuZ
