About event

We invite you to the author's reading and discussion with the Austrian-Slovak author Susanne Gregor and her new novel of Limota 📚

Klara tragically dies tourism. Only Paulina knows what happened. Paulína is a Slovakian who Klara employed after her mother's heart attack to become her babysitter. Klara could continue to do her work and the husband had time for herself. While Paulina worked in Austria, her children in Slovakia took care of the mother -in -law. It was well organized, everyone liked Pauline and always rewarded her generously. Maybe they even made friends with Klara, but then something went wrong. On the way to mutual understanding, they crossed the borders.

Layers are a psychological novel about two women and fine borders between good intentions, conflict and alienation in a world full of inequality. The event is moderated by Eva Urbanová. 🎤

The partner of the event is the Austrian Cultural Forum. The publication of the book from public sources was supported by the Art Support Fund, which is the main partner of the project. The translation of the book is based on the support of the Federal Ministry of Housing, Art, Culture, Media and Sport of the Republic of Austria. 🙏
