Dear Friends of Scottish Culture,
With great joy, we invite you to the dance celebration held on the occasion of St. Ondřej, a Scottish patron. The event will take place on Friday, November 21, 2025 in the premises of the Cultural Center of the granary in Brno - Medlánky. Ceilidh starts at 7.30 pm with the first dance, the hall is open for visitors from 7 pm.
The traditional ingredients of the evening - the opening ceremony with the bagpipes and drummers Scotch Dog Pipes and Drums, the musical accompaniment performed by Alastaira Edwards and his band and, above all, dancing, led by our excellent lecturer Mike Scott of Edinburgh. The whiskey shop from Brno will offer to tasting selected Scottish one -sweet whiskey and the raffle will again be full of tempting thematic awards. Tickets are sales only by e-mail with payment to the account. For booking and buying tickets, please write to [email protected]. You will be able to enter the event after the name or nickname at the entrance to the hall 🙂 😉 On the other hand - those who desire their own kiln can order it or borrow it from our kiltmaker: www.kiltforyou.eu .
