We are serving you the eighth year of the summer cinema in Pragovka, this time with an umbrella theme of the source. This year we will project in the open air every Tuesday after dark in the second Gulf of the newly renovated building E Factory. Free admission (voluntary contribution can be donated). Until the start of the screening, you can visit the Pragovka Gallery and Factory Kafe during the opening hours. Dvořáková
camera: Marie Dvořáková Photographer Marie Toman came to New York as an au-pair and broke through in an extremely competitive environment of the local photographic scene. Director Marie Dvořáková watched her with the camera in her hand over the course of five years and gave rise to the feature documentary film The World between us. The director captured the first success of Tomanová beyond the ocean and her steep journey up, but also a strong personal and artistic partnership of the photographer with art historian Thomas Beachdel, without whose support she would probably not fully develop her talent. Thanks to the original director's approach and unprecedented openness of the main actors, we become part of the story of the fulfilled American dream. Both Marie combines the same experience of leaving the US, building a career in a new environment and the search for roots, identity and home. (Pilot Film Source)
