About event
Paper World _ CELEBRATION OF 10 YEARS
An interactive playful performance for four dancers, one musician, children and a thousand sheets of paper.
An adventure of discovering space, movement, boundless inspiration and pure joy through an ordinary piece of paper .
The Paper World is a heartfelt show that started as a show for adults. In 2014, it took place for the first time as a performance for and with children. Since then, it has been danced 114 times!
Children can also try movement games with paper during workshops directly in schools.
More than 12 dancers have danced in the show over the course of 10 years and played 7 musicians.
It is an adaptable conceptual interactive performance that we have performed both in the theater and on the grass or on the boat, in the gallery, in the church, in the gym, in the square, in the tent... It is simply packed in a bag and you can play... and at the end there is always the joy of movement.
Dancing: Jana Novorytová, Lucie Charouzová, Veronika Šimková, Jana Látalová, Barbora Látalová, Romana Packová, Lenka Kniha Bartůňková, Mirka Eliášová, Jan Bárta, Radim Klásek, Jiří Lössl
Concept and choreography: Mirka Eliášová
Elektroacoustic music, sound design: Jiří Jakl
