About event
✨ Thursday 4th September 2025 from 16:00 will be held in the center of Prague, a quiet procession under the name Light for Earned Childhood in Palestine and Israel.
✨initiators of the event are Tamara and Tomáš Klus, who approached the parish priest and professor Tomáš Halík, Nicholas Vymětal from the Czech Brethren Church of the Evangelical and a wide range of civil initiatives, humanitarian and charity organizations.
✨NA The procession will follow the benefit concert in the Lucerna Music Bar, which will include a number of personalities from the Czech academic, music and cultural scene
✨Ace will begin in the Evangelical Church of Salvator (Salvátská 1, Prague 1) and will continue to the Catholic Church of the Holy Salvator where the prayer will take place.
✨ The relevance will take place in a commemorative form - without flags, banners or other symbols. Participants are asked to come in white clothes as a symbol of unity and rooms. They can also carry photographs of children who have prematurely extincted as a result of adult wars in the procession. The procession will be quiet, except for the introductory joint prayer, it will not be part of any speeches or musical accompaniment. The organizer recommends that the participants and the participants do not speak, or communicate only quietly during the procession, and to focus on the meaning and message of the event. The aim is to create space for internal sealing, statement of solidarity and respect.
✨Mezi confirmed organizations are, for example, doctors without borders, People in Need, Charity Czech Republic, Amnesty International, Organization for Refugees (OPU), World Without Wars and Violence, Stopgenocidevgaz, Diakonia of the Evangelical Church. Dehumanization, Jewish voice of solidarity, initiative for the critical academy, Palestinian club, not our name! - for fair peace in the Middle East, International Solidarity Movement (ISM CR), Solidarity with Palestine Olomouc, Pilsen4Palestine, Destination Palestine and Humanthuman. The Czech Committee for UNICEF will be involved through its Executive Director Pavla Gomb. The event will also be supported by spiritual, artists. Cooperation arises with the knowledge that children's pain exceeds the differences between people. On one stage Klára Vytisková, Hugo Toxxx, Tomáš Klus, Katarzia, Berenika Kohoutová, Aneta Krejčíková, Emma Smetana, Jordan Haj Hossein, Simon Bilina, Adam Vopička, Erika Stárková, Martin Chobot Jagerčíková, Sebastian Vadas and Dáša Zázvůrková.
✨výžek The concert will go to the help of the civilian population of Gaza, through organizations Charity Czech Republic and the world without wars and violence.
✨NA The event will also be heard by Stephen Kapos - eighty -eight -year -old Holocaust survivor, artist and former architect who escaped Nazi persecution in Budapest, and Anna Šabatová - long -term human rights defending champion UN prices for human rights defense. Zora Hesová, political scientist and expert on Islam, and Yara Abu Aataya, Palestinian designer and activist bringing personal testimony of life in Gaza.
Palestinian territories took daughters. Today, the Parents Circle Families Forum represents families from both sides with a similar fate that seeks to end the occupation. We will also have a video command of the doctor and author of Gabor Matý, who as a child also escaped the Holocaust and today focuses on the topics of trauma and empathy, musician, artist Vladimir 518 and Israeli historian Ilan Pappý. Human rights activist Táňa Bednářová from the world without wars and violence will present authentic videos from Gaza showing the work of people who directly help civilians. Its organization is part of an initiative that has been supporting self -help groups and families in camps west of Khan Youenis for food, drinking water, medicines and other needs.

✨ under the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor was in 660 days of Israeli military aggression in Gaza killed 20,415 Palestinian children. In August 2023, the Human Rights Watch said it was the smallest year for Palestinian children on the occupied West Bank - from January to August 2023, Israeli forces killed 34 children. According to Israeli public television KAN, 36 Israeli children were killed in Hamas attack in October 2023, 14 in missile attacks during the war, 4 in terrorist attacks and 2 in Hamas. UNICEF said in January that it is a region with the largest density of children that have amputated one or both limbs. In addition, children in Gaza have to face epidemics of diseases, injuries, psychological trauma and artificially caused famine. Among other things, Save The Children reported this July that in Gaza in the last four months, the number of children under five years suffering from acute malnutrition has increased.
