About event
From Friday, January 31 to Sunday February 2, we will commemorate the importance of wetlands and the importance of their protection.
There will be a nature trail for children and adults on the zoo. You can also participate in the competition for interesting prizes, by throwing the drawn ticket after passing the trail into the box at the main entrance. We keep our fingers crossed!
World War I. This day is to commemorate the date of signing the Convention on Wetlands, with international importance primarily as a habitat of waterfowl, also called the Ramsar Convention. This Convention was signed by the first states 2. 2. 1971. Unfortunately, they are often perceived as unnecessary and they are disposed of and degradation, which affects the drying and transformations of the landscape and the negative impacts on the lives of many species, most birds. For this year, the Secretariat of the Ramsar Convention set out as the topic of the campaign "Protection of wetlands for our common future".
