About event
We cordially invite all fans of knitting and crocheting to the annual World Public Knitting Day, which takes place all over the world on 13/06/2026.
In Banská Bystrica, we will meet at the Stara tržnica at 1:00 p.m. - we will knit, crochet, spin and talk about Slovak wool and its processing.
Just bring a blanket or a chair to a session (some will be available on site) and your project you are currently working on. There will be an opportunity to try or resume knitting and crocheting - so don't hesitate, join us and celebrate creative handicrafts made of yarn with us.
We are looking forward to seeing you from our small club of Bystrica knitters 🧶😊
