World River Day
We commemorate it every September on the last September. The aim is to celebrate rivers as a source of life, a source of livelihood, houses of many plants and animals. At the same time, it is supposed to recall the need to protect and enhance them. Join the celebration of our rivers in Ecocentre.

Observation of animals near Moravia/commented excursions
10.00 We will walk through the flood meadows around the Morava River, we will talk about their importance and biodiversity. We will observe birds and other animals that form a varied natural mosaic of the protected area Devínske Lake. Suitable for adults and children from 8 years, contribution 4 €/ person, 6 €/ 2 persons, 8 €/ 3 or more. Login [email protected]. We will talk about the condition of watercourses in Slovakia, why they are important to us in the drought or intense downpours. We will also look at the dams and their consequences, or tips on how we can help the rivers. You will also meet some of their inhabitants live. Input 3 €/person.
18.15 swarming bats
We will talk about echolocation of bats, their life by rivers and lakes, searching for a partner and reproduction. We will observe their swarming at the water and try to catch several kinds and see them close. Suitable for adults and children from 6 years, allowance 4 €/ person, 6 €/ 2 persons, 8 €/ 3 or more.
